Take an inventory of your possessions. Now of all those who love you. Which column is more important to you?

A message from my Spirit Teacher, Nathanial.

OpEd: “Love people and use things. Not the other way around.” A quote from Tau Sing, a co-founder of the Chapel. Notice both Nathanial and Tau Sing said love and not romance. All too often, we act as though “romantic love” is a possession the attainment of which will make us happy of complete. As with any possession, this is not the case.

Allowing yourself to take inventory of those who love you and accepting their love on whatever terms they choose to express, is an exercise in experiencing the meaning of life. There is no better cure for what ails you. Notice as you do this work, your resistance to love.

Most resist love be demanding love occur in a particular way. Love is not a formula but created at the moment as an expression of acceptance. Your life isn’t a RomCom.

Enjoy this practice and take good care to tend the source of love in your life that is the people on your list.
