But alas all good things must come to an end. Hogwash. Watch those silly little sayings that are seemingly harmless. Each thought is real. Each thought sets an expectation. Each thought sets the stage for your actions.

A message from my Spirit Teacher, Gene.

OpEd: Just before I go today’s message I was wondering if Gene would be giving us the message.”Wondering” is a thought. Thoughts are things. But wondering is not necessarily a powerful way to think. There is very little intention in wondering thoughts.

If you recall, yesterday in my social media posts I called this week Gene Week at Spirit Shorts. My pun on Shark week. Someone asked me what I would do if Gene didn’t give the message on Friday. I hadn’t thought about that. But a small seed of doubt was planted. That seed sprouted this morning as I was preparing to receive today’s message.

As you know, Gene did give us today’s message and addressed my silly thoughts on the matter. Smart guy that one. LOL.

We each have countless thoughts and disempowering beliefs each day. These thoughts create our experience of living life. In Gene’s quoting a line from some song that has made its way into the lexicon of wimpy thinking. As you develop control of your mind through meditation, you begin to become mindfully aware of these little sayings you’ve grown accustomed to saying.

  • The problem being the stage that is set by these seemingly innocuous thoughts.
  • My future ex-husband/wife.
  • When pigs fly.
  • Well, if it weren’t for bad luck…
  • What’s you favorite saying?

The process is quite simple but not at all easy. The process is mastering the 3RsRight meditation. Right thought. Right action. Your actions yield results or karma (cause and effect) you want or don’t want. Based on these results, you start again with “right meditation”. Over time, you begin to catch yourself saying these cute little sayings. Then you see how that cute little saying has to some degree shaped part of your life.

Whallah. Now you have a simple process to re-engineer your life into virtually anything you want.
