A message from my Spiritual Teacher, Gene.

OpEd: Spiritual laws govern right and wrong are few and simple. Love, karma, reincarnation, non-interference, no distractions. Live and let live until you’ve reached perfection at which time you will decide what’s next for you.

On the other hand, religious law and civil law are quite subjective about what is right and wrong. Bringing together a bunch of animals into small spaces and having them live together required much management. The rule of living together began with religious laws that evolved into civil law.

As we begin developing our awareness, the spiritual laws begin to become our guidelines for living. The considerations of right and wrong rarely enter our conscious mind because we’re flowing naturally along the middle path. Walking our straight and narrow path affords us the luxury of simplicity and is naturally minimalistic. Our needs and wants become one and abundance best describes our experience.

Our only concern is with the arbitrary civil laws and deadlines that we must follow to maintain harmony with the society in which we live.
