Fear is the root of your troubles. Some fears evident, other not. Fear can not exist in a trained mind. Training your mind is quite simple, yet not at all easy.
A message from my Spirit Teacher, Nathanial.
OpEd: Fear is a four letter word. Like most words of this nature, conveys much meaning in so few characters. It’s the debilitating nature of fear that makes it so troublesome. Fear stops us from taking action and blocks our natural intuition and psychic abilities. This double whammy can leave us stuck and blind. A very lonely place to be.
The good news being it takes very little mental control to calm our emotions, including fear. Mental control is gained by practicing stillness meditation. This practice allows us to detach from the emotional centers of our mind and sit quietly in the presence of our Spiritual Selves. A wonderful place to be.
The issue becomes when we’ve been at the effect of our emotions for long periods of time. When severe anxiety, depression or stress is controlling our lives, we often need some help to regain our mental control. This help may be through medication, exercise, change in diet.
Once you have the experience of being in control, the holistic approach of training your mind can begin. Success is very likely when you begin a meditation practice when you’re feeling good. The reason for this is you have a benchmark that allows you to notice when you’re backsliding. Otherwise, you can’t comprehend when things begin to get out of hand.
Proper instruction can help you discern when you’re having a bad day versus a bad year. With proper instruction and the proper starting point, your progress can be quite rapid.
