Message for my Spirit Guide, Clarissa.

OpEd: There is a huge difference between thinking about doing versus doing. In the realm of spiritual and psychic development, too often we think we are doing something and not doing it.

Healing is a perfect example. It is quite easy to imagine going through the motions of a healing. It is not so easy to project the healing energy into ourselves or another for 3 minutes.

The impact of this can make a profound difference in your life.

I watched a documentary about the Blue Angels. It showed the training and development they used to produce their airshow performances. I was surprised to see the entire team mentally practicing their performance before getting into their planes. I was impressed.

At the Chapel of Awareness, we teach the 3Rs as being the formula to fix your problems, woes and help you begin to live your life abundantly. What is fascinating is how often we take action without thinking and think without clearing our minds of distracting thoughts.

Live Life Abundantly

Procrastination, anger, depression, anxiety and self-sabotage each are mental distractions you can control with proper mental training and discipline. With proper training, you can clear your mental blackboard of all things that are not relevant to the current moment.

Once your mind is clear and in control, you can then think about what you’re going to think about to prioritize your thinking. Once your thinking has yielded your next course of action, you can get busy doing it.

It’s easy to know whether you’re doing the laundry. It’s not so easy to write a book or change your job. Measure your progress by keeping a journal. Keeping track of actions and results will reveal if you’re writing a book, changing job, or merely thinking about it.

Next step, live life abundantly.
