There is a funny song that this entity (Rev Terry) gets stuck in his head from time to time which has a golden thread of truth in it… It goes “looking for love in all the wrong places, looking for love in too many faces”. Looking for love is an action. Finding love is an action.
A better way may be to see what it is you’re truly looking for. Are you wanting a companion, a lover, a friend, a provider? It is important to know exactly what you want. So you can look in the right places. My recommendation is to take a few days or weeks and notice the love you already have in your life. Notice how your love for others and their love for you is as unique as finger prints. All are similar, but each is different. Notice how you behave when you are with your “loved ones” again each relationship is unique unto itself.
Now take some time and notice how you are with yourself. Do you love yourself? Are you warm, affectionate and caring with yourself? If not, you may want to start loving the person in the mirror then “looking for love” is a simple matter of quieting your mind and caressing your own soul. When you are fulfilled in your own company love takes on a whole new meaning.
