In the Bible there is a teaching about walking the straight and narrow path which sounds very boring to most people. But in this metaphor a straight and narrow path is simply the easiest to follow. Of course controlling your mind and emotions for your best use is following the straight and narrow. You can also look at the straight and narrow with regards to your goals and dreams and the fastest way to get there. If you consider attaining your goals more quickly and controlling your mind and emotions a benefit, then you can walk the straight and narrow path and have fun.
