There is no easy path in life to bring about everything you want. There is only to discover that which brings you joy, happiness, and satisfaction within yourself. Once discovered, pursue at your best speed.
A message from my Spirit Teacher, Gene.
OpEd: Thank you, Gene for opening my eyes that I may see something completely unexpected and challenging to comprehend. I see now that I’ve devoted much of my energy to chasing stuff and people that would never bring me joy, happiness or satisfaction. For most of my life, I’ve been like a dog obsessed with catching its tail. I’ve manically chased it traveling in circles only to get it and not having accomplished anything.
Joy, happiness and satisfaction? What a wonderful life that would be, would it not?
Gene’s message has intrigued me. Pursue life at your best speed. This phrase is very close to in time and on time, but something quite different. There are places in my life where I travel with great speed. The speed is possible because of my experience, practice and confidence in that area of life. While in other areas of life, I am quite slow and deliberate. Taking each step with great care.
Which method is best? It doesn’t really matter, does it? What matters is finding within that which brings you joy, happiness, and satisfaction. This formula borders on perfection, does it not? Imagine waking up every morning happy, joyful and completely satisfied. Imagining walking through life, yearning for nothing baffles my mind. If I’m satisfied, yearning nothing I would be happy and not having to devote my time and energy to what I’m yearning for would indeed create a joyful existence. As Dr. Spock from Star Trek would say, most logical.
