What is your nature? Does it serve you? How can you change it? While possible, it’s easier to change the spots of a leopard. Knowing this allows you to work with your nature, bringing about the life you want.

A message from my Spirit Teacher, Gene.

OpEd:
Today’s message is about loving one’s self. Accepting who you are without judgement. Most people get busy changing themselves, their behaviors and actions with little or no results. In my opinion, this is because we change what we like least and not what matters most.

Many people seek to change their outward circumstances. Others seek to change their relationship status. While others their body and appearance. Before external changes can truly change one’s beauty, health and station in life, one must completely accept what’s so right now.

Your external circumstances are easy to evaluate. The internal circumstances that are the cause of your external worldly circumstances, not so much. We’ve all met couples who don’t seem to go together. One hot the other hideous. We’ve seen fat people with very attractive lean partners. We’ve all met people who are unsightly, but who after getting to know them are truly beautiful while some very attractive people only grow uglier the more we get to know them.

The point being the moment you accept your “spots” for just as they are, is the moment you have dominion over your life. You have choices made freely rather than by your unconscious mind.

If you’re interested, the formula is quite simple. Right Meditation. Right Thought. Right Action. Add keeping a daily journal of your experiences. Notice patterns that do not serve you. Accept them then find a replacement. All the while, being the most beautiful leopard in the forest.
