Hi ho. What is there to discover hidden within your awareness? Some climb mountains and explore seas. Others themselves. Which is more rewarding? Only you can say. Whichever you choose, leave no stone unturned.

A message from my Spirit Teacher, Gene.

OpEd: I love the image that my mind conjures up in today’s message from Gene. No stone unturned within my awareness. Very fun to imagine walking around inside my head dressed like a miner looking for precious stones.

I made my mind up many years ago to embark on a spiritual journey to explore my awareness and consciousness rather than the mountains and seas. You see I’m not particularly fond of the wet and cold. I am planning to walk the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail with my wife. Truth be told, this is here dream and simply an interesting idea for me. But, imagine 4 to 5 months of peace, solitude, incredible views, bad food, cold, wet and sore feet. I can’t wait.

However, when discovering the hidden treasures hidden within one’s awareness the journey can just as uncomfortable. Coming face-to-face with our true nature, seeing our true intentions, being responsible for our actions and results can each create much pain.

Then you have the task of deciding what the heck to do with what you find. Therein lies the path of the Spiritually Aware. Not too much that is physically dangerous, but your ego may very well end up on the endangered species list.

Regardless what you choose, it’s your spiritual journey that matters most. The destination is simply to allow navigation. Cheers.
