Spirit Shorts Episode 97: The Spiritual Meaning of Life
We’re here in this lifetime to be happy, to love and to take the next steps in our spiritual evolution. As we begin to explore our Spiritual Nature, we can not help but consider the Spiritual Meaning of life.
Nathanial says our Spiritual exploration can be a hobby, lifestyle or purpose. I’ve never thought of it this way. But, looking back at almost 30 years of studying, practicing and teaching Spiritual and Psychic Development I can see what he means.
Some people who walk through the doors of our Chapel school are curious. While others are compelled to be there. They’re not sure why, but they can seem to get answers fast enough. They’re hungry for the information we teach.
For many, Spiritual studies draw them like a moth to a flame. They have a unquenchable curiosity about matters of Spirit. They can hear a truth in most all religions, but just not quite the whole truth. Their search for Spiritual Meaning becomes a lifestyle. A deliberate exploration to discover that which is unseen be none-the-less real to them.
For some, they are compelled to teach and help others along their paths. Teaching and helping other is their Spiritual Meaning, their purpose. As with most Spiritual, metaphysical and martial arts, the teacher or instructor is simply someone who has walked the path before you. As is the way for experiential studies where it’s the practice of which that provides the learning.
One can not awaken to enlightenment by reading a book or taking a weekend course alone. Of course, after much practice, enlightenment can happen while reading a book or taking a weekend course. But then again, who am I to say?
The most important thing to take away from today’s lesson is that whatever path you are on right now, it’s the right path. Follow your curiosity and innate desires that act like an internal GPS and will lead you to your proper destination. Being true to yourself, is the Spiritual Meaning of life.
