Lest we forget why we are here, to take your next steps toward perfection. The way is love. The path is simple. The results are happiness and fulfillment. Be not distracted along your journey.
A message from my Spirit Teacher, Tau Chuan Ling.
Spirit Shorts Episode #71: Lest we forget? Heck Tau Chuan Ling, I never knew why I was here. That is until I walked into the Chapel of Awareness in 1987. Then I was told I was here to learn the giving and receiving of love plus a few other things vital to my Spiritual Path.
I was pragmatic engineering / computer programmer sort when I walked through the Chapel’s doors. Over the past quarter century or so, I’ve become pragmatic Spiritual sort.
We are drawn to something or someone from time to time with no logical explanation. We may never know the reason, but a change is made that changes the predictable course of our life in the direction of your Spiritual Path.
Allow yourself follow this knowing. We chose to come here (incarnate into this lifetime) to accomplish several specific lessons. In doing so, we progress toward perfection or Nirvana. It’s this progress that draws us forward like moths to a flame.
Distractions abound. They always have and always will be. The biggest distractions come from our untrained minds. Those uncontrolled thoughts, emotions and desires that we obsess over are what stops us from hearing and listening to the wee voice of knowing within each of us.
Our path is simple. Our mission is love. Our joy, fulfillment and happiness within our control. It’s my experience that it’s the reconciling between what we think we want and need, and the reality of our circumstances that is the source of our unhappiness and creates fear.
Fear blocks our awareness, knowing and intuitive senses. Our fears get fueled and habitually maintained by our obsessions. It’s through the dual efforts of meditation and keeping a journal that you can begin to control fear. The price is giving up drama and adrenaline.
Is it worthwhile? Only you can decide. The decision is not a vital one. If you don’t accomplish what you came here to learn and understand, you will come back again and again until you do. Allow yourself to slow down and enjoy your journey this lifetime. Your Spiritual Path is, after all, a journey of your choosing.
