Much is spoken about meditation and stillness. It is not stillness you seek, but the moment after stillness where awareness and knowing illumine your thoughts.
A message from my Spirit Teacher, Tau Chuan Ling.
Spirit Shorts Episode 96: Your Best Spiritual Sounding Board
The chicken or the egg, which came first? The chicken came first, of course.
The first chicken hatched from an egg laid by a cousin to the chicken, but not a chicken. The chicken was a genetic mutation that survived as a chicken and began laying chicken eggs.
When it comes to comes to meditation and stillness, it’s the results we are seeking and not the stillness. Stillness Meditation is simply the quickest path to the results.
Stillness is a warm, comforting and refreshing place to visit. Some people like meditation they want to sit all the time. But as with any potential addiction, moderation is required.
Lest we forget the reason for meditation, it to reach stillness. The reason for stillness it to clear the thunder of our minds and see things as they are. Stillness is a tool in our spiritual bag of tricks.
Through stillness meditation, it’s possible to control our minds to such a degree we can easily access intuition and ESP. We can also learn to communicate with Spirit, Heal ourselves and others, and perform miracles.
What I find interesting in Tau Chuan Ling’s message is how stillness has awareness and knowing to illumine your thoughts. I’ve always had it that we can have the paths illuminated, but not our thoughts.
It’s awareness that allows us to see the unseen. It’s knowledge of the unseen that allows us to walk our pathway with grace and ease.
